Chinle, AZ: August Progress Report

The saga continues!

In early August, 2003, Gi Gi was adopted to a great home outside of Mesa, AZ.

Tamara Martin, secretary of Blackhat Humane, collected 3 dogs and Dandy the cat, and met Julie of Pets911 in Flagstaff. Julie transported the animals to Noah's Ark Animal Rescue in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Noah's Ark also sent up a large donation of food for the animals, which is much appreciated!

Dixie On August 8, Dixie, a 3-legged Collie/Heeler mix rescue, was accepted by Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, and transported from Window Rock, AZ, in a small airplane by Judah Battista. The Stack family who fostered Dixie has five children. The Stack's cried saying goodbye to Dixie, but also said it was very exciting. We hope that Dixie soon finds her forever home from being at Best Friends, and we thank Best Friends very much for being part of the chain of help.
